Wait, 25% is terrible. It's a solid F-.
Well, I had four days off and I only worked on the car for one. Today I made a little progress on a few fronts. I put one side of the suspension and brakes back together, painted a couple of things, and filled the last remaining holes in the firewall. I have one more day off tomorrow and I'm really hoping to get a coat of primer on the firewall.
The rusty brake rotors really detract from the shiny newness of all the suspension pieces and hardware, but they're basically brand-new and there's no point in paying to have them turned just to make them shinier.

Post 37: Illumination
Didn't really work on the car today. I meant to, but my avoidance behavior kicked in hard and instead I redid the lighting in my garage. All of the cans got new LED bulbs (awesome) and I replaced all of the old T12 fluorescent fixtures with new T8s. As my wife said, it's like the sun is shining in my garage now. Maybe tomorrow I'll actually do something in there.
I did manage to spend about 20 minutes sorting out my old and new suspension hardware. Basically I just did enough to realize I didn't get everything I needed yesterday. Or today, on one of my two trips to Lowes. Such is life.

Post 36: Trying something new
And that new thing is posting pictures more often instead of waiting until I have time to post pictures and write a bunch of stuff to go with them. Because last year was cool and all, but 34 posts in 52 weeks is not my best showing. I mean, it's my only showing so far, but I can do better.
Today my dad came over and we filled up the MIG welder tank, bought a bunch of stainless and grade 8 hardware, and blew the whole front end of the car apart again. The plan is to put it all back together one last time with nice nuts and bolts and everything torqued and lubed.
And once again, my garage looks like a bomb went off and Ford parts were blown all over the place.
